Links to our partnersKRDP also supports other organisations working in Eastern Uganda
which have the same commitment to long-term community development. In
particular, we have supported:

The Foundation for the Development of Needy Communities:
Based in nearby Nantondome village,
FDNC provides vocational training
for young people who have not completed their education, to equip them
with practical skills to earn a living. Unusually for Uganda, it also
provides secure accommodation and training for children with special
needs.

Christian Rural Eyesight Protection:
Based in Mbale, CRESP provides services to people in remote rural
communities who would not normally travel into towns to seek attention
for eyesight problems.

Workshops:
We support a number of workshops that employ members of the community
who are traditionally marginalised, including single parents, disabled
and other disadvantaged people. We buy their products and sell them at
events in the UK to
raise funds for KRDP projects.
