Butta Primary School
Butta Primary School has around 1100 pupils. At the start of KRDP’s involvement, the school had seven classrooms built of mud bricks. The children sat on earth floors. One text book was shared between 20 pupils, and there was very little equipment.With support from KRDP, six new classrooms have been built, all to a high standard. Pupils now have proper desks and share one text book between three.
Recent projects include:- £1500 provided desks for the children and their teachers
- £250 provided text books for children in the top three primary years for English, Maths, Science and Social Studies
